MONOTERPENES

Such as D-limonene, β-myrcene, α- and β-pinene, terpinolene, and linalool, which impart fresh and characteristic aromas.

SESQUITERPENES

Such as β-caryophyllene and α-humulene, key components of the less volatile part that characterize the background and persistent notes of the aroma and are known for their beneficial properties.
