Hemp cultivation in Italy starting with the italian seed bank
The genetic improvement project was carried out in collaboration with Sativa Creations, operating in the Mediterranean environment where our Research Center is located.
It is a unique context where there are no virus and viroids that can be transmitted to progeny, such as the HLVd (Hop Latent Viroid), a particularly dangerous pathogen for hemp.
We strongly believe that one of the successful elements of our inbreeding method is the adaptability of the selected variety in relation to the environment where hemp cultivation is carried out.
