Industrial hemp cultivation and hemp seeds for sale

We operate in Northern Italy, where we have cultivated more than 100 hectares of land in the last 6 years.

We have a warehouse of 1200 sqm where we have processed more than 50 tons of therapeutic cannabis biomass that we have sold to important pharmaceutical industries.

Our industrial hemp production is not limited only to the cultivation of medical cannabis or pharmaceutical cannabis, authorized by the Italian Ministry of Health, but is also aimed at other sectors. From the cannabis in cosmetics and beverage industries, we address allthese expanding sectors offering fully traceable and GACP certified products.

Our commitment to the environment and the adaptation to climate changes:

According to the italian law n. 242 of 2016, the hemp it is “a crop that can contribute to reduce the environmental impact in agriculture, the soil consumption, the desertification and the loss of biodiversity, as well as a crop to be used as a rotation crop”.

Our agronomic protocol integrates the principles of organic farming and aims for minimum environmental impact. The Egeria hemp supply chain complies with the principles of the EU Green Deal and the UN SDGs.

The MASAF (Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry) had then clarified the cultivation methods of Cannabis with the Circular of 23 May 2018 and had specified that the authorized hemp must have a THC rate lower than 0.2% but with a tolerance threshold up to 0,6%. Currently, the Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2 December 2021 (art. 4, comma 4) has raised the maximum THC limit to 0.3%.

Egeria short supply chain

We have a short supply chain that we manage entirely independently: from sowing, to harvesting, to processing of hemp plants up to the distribution of all our products on the European and American markets. We address both the producers of the agricultural world and the processing industries.

In collaboration with Sativa Creations we have created the Italian seed bank, made up of genetic varieties with a high content of CBD and other non-psychoactive cannabinoids.

How we cultivate and process hemp

Our hemp is cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, in the open field and without the use of synthetic agro-pharmaceuticals.

The cultivation takes place respecting the environment through advanced bio-control technologies that allow us to obtain a naturally balanced quality product.

Each phase of the production process is followed with the utmost attention by our expert staff, according to the GACP guidelines, in order to avoid any risk of contamination, both before, during and after harvesting.

Egeria pays particular attention to the harvesting, drying and packaging phases, through a continuous control of various parameters such as temperature and humidity, to avoid the possible formation of mold and the general depletion of the product.
